eDOC Innovations, a provider of check imaging products, is preparing to roll-out real-time posting for mobile RDC items. Real-time posting addresses the needs of clients offering eDOCMobile RDC to their members to make funds deposited through their mobile devices more readily available.

“With mobile check deposit a mainstream solution for credit union members, we looked at various options of making deposited funds accessible to the member more expeditiously,” commented Mark Fierro, the CUSO’s interim CEO. “Our ongoing history of listening to our credit union owners and peers has always resulted in success. We are excited to make this convenient feature an added option for our clients to serve their members.”

Currently, RDC funds are made available through several automated schedules, ranging from twice a day, Monday to Friday, to four times a day, seven days a week. Credit unions also have the option of manually posting the approved deposits to the member’s account anytime. eDOC is currently beta-testing the product. The anticipated release date is the first quarter of 2019.
