CU*Answers includes closing ATM/debit cards in the closing account/membership workflow

CU*Answers is enhancing its CU*BASE® core data processing system by allowing credit union staff to close ATM/debit cards in the account closing as part of the workflow. Currently when closing an account or membership, if an ATM or debit card exists, the member service representative must exit the screen, and use the tool “ATM/Debit Card Maintenance” to close the card, and then resume finalizing the close process. Now access to closing cards is built right in. “This new feature in the workflow will make the process more efficient and effective for the member service staff,” said Mike Gruber, regional sales representative.
