Xtend, Inc., a Grand Rapids-based execution CUSO, presented at the annual CU*NorthWest user group conference in early July, held in Spokane, WA. The two CUSOs have been partnering together for just over a decade. The conference is a three-day event, where CU*NorthWest clients can hear about the year ahead and collaborate with their partner CUSOs and credit unions.
Xtend’s presentation centered around the Network Effect, providing insight and concepts that leverage the power of the group. As new members of the CU*NorthWest family of credit unions join the Xtend network, the value of the products and services grows for all users and owners. Xtend tied this idea into their new communications platform, rolled out for Xtend marketing clients in early June 2018. The marketing platform will give clients the ability to create one-to-one journeys for their members, provide access to various member communication channels and offer predictive analytics to help grow member relationships. Xtend also discussed the Network Effect’s impact on its other two branches of business: back office bookkeeping and contact center solutions.
“CU*NorthWest always puts on a great event for its credit unions,” said Liz Winninger, CEO of Xtend. “This event is a rewarding process to be a part of, credit unions coming together, networking, sharing ideas and collaborating on the year to come. It gives everyone pause from the daily and monthly repetition that we all are guilty of falling into and helps remove perceived barriers we’ve created for ourselves, we can lean on our partner CUSOs and credit unions to lend their experience.”
