Tongass Federal Credit Union, a Ketchikan, Alaska-based credit union, is bringing two-way text member support to their members to assist with loan related questions. The credit union is partnering with cooperative CUSO Xtend, utilizing their partner software Zipwhip. “Members and non-members alike are finding the text communication channel to be more convenient, while credit unions are finding it to be extremely user friendly,” said Liz Winninger, Xtend CEO.
