In order to help drive member awareness of brokerages services offered by its customer-owners, Xtend, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, is delivering periodic, targeted emails and online banking messages to members of fifteen credit unions. The CUSO reports that during the months of January and February more than 83,000 electronic messages were delivered to members of those credit unions.
Xtend’s Business Development Manager Liz Winninger, whose Member Reach team handles the execution of the brokerage e-communication campaigns, said, “For the past year our team has been focused on driving more awareness of our partners’ brokerage programs to not only help them boost their off-balance sheet assets under management, but also keep those programs top of mind across their membership base. Since nearly all our clients utilize our partners at CUSO Financial Services (CFS) to manage their brokerage programs, we work closely with the CFS team to develop messages that are both effective and compliant. CFS has been a great partner, and it has been exciting watching these programs grow over the past year.”
Xtend President Scott Collins added, “Successful brokerage programs have, for the most part, been limited to the largest credit unions in the country. Our goal is two-fold: help our mid-market credit unions have programs that are as effective are their larger peers and, create a buzz about these valuable programs across their membership base.”
According to Collins, Xtend delivers more than 5 million messages to members each year.
