CU*Answers Announces More Free Marketing Kits

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – October 27, 2014

CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, recently announced additional free “Grand Opening Kits” for their credit union clients. The Grand Opening Kit (GOK) program is a complete marketing-in-a-box campaign that offers a low-cost, easy way to market a product or service to members, both in the credit union lobby and online through the web, social networks and email. For some credit unions these kits encourage them to “grand open” a new product or service. For other credit unions, these kits are meant to supplement existing marketing.

Every CU*Answers client credit union is shipped a free marketing kit, valued at over $100. They may also pre-order additional kits for branches at $100 each. The program, now in its third year, sends the themed Grand Opening Kits out quarterly. The latest kit’s theme is Member Appreciation and past themes range from Debit Card Round Up to Text Banking to a Security focus.

Contents of the “kits” typically include a 5-foot banner, balloons, table tents, window clings, lobby take-aways, lapel stickers, and a give-away item, such as piggy banks, lip gloss, ink pens, or something similar that ties to the theme. Credit Unions do have the option of pre-ordering additional kits for their branch offices at cost and since the kits are a collaborative purchase the cost can be kept to $100.00.
