CU*Answers Enhances ID Verification

CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned, cooperative data processing CUSO, announced it has enhanced its photo ID verification process on the CU*BASE® core data processing system. The upgrade came as part of a CU*BASE general software release to online and in-house credit unions.

CU*Answers stated the photo ID upgrade takes away the need for credit union staff to click a button to verify a photo ID. Now, when a credit union employee accesses a member’s account, the photo ID will automatically display in a window as part of the verification process.  Once an ID has been verified, the staff member simply closes the window to move forward. The software enhancement is part of CU*Answers’ commitment to offer an e-document strategy that has is deeply embedded within the core data processing system.

The CUSO went on to say that it is very proud to be able to offer these software enhancements at no extra cost to its data processing clients. The data processor typically has three major software enhancements annually.
