At the request of their clients, the Collections team at CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, has created a group to collect on recovery accounts for credit unions that do not have time to work them. CU*Answers announced it is adding its third recovery client to their base of collections clients. “We know some clients prefer to handle their own recovery work but several clients indicated that they would like assistance in working their recovery accounts. We know in many cases that the money is there but credit unions may not have the time to be pursue it”, confirmed Jerry Collins the Team Leader of the Collections team.

By allowing CU*Answers to work on the recovery accounts the Credit Union can concentrate on other actions such as training or making new loans thereby adding to their bottom line.
