Xtend, a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based CUSO and market leader specializing in inbound support, targeted outbound campaign support, and e-communications, announced that it has added HTML email communication to its suite of offerings. The new messages, which were piloted over the past several months by a group of credit unions already utilizing Xtend’s Member Reach service, will be deployed as a premium feature for Member Reach clients beginning in November.
Xtend President Scott Collins calls this latest enhancement “the result of our continuous focus on finding more creative ways to meet the customer-owners of our credit unions on the members’ terms.” Collins added, “Our CUSO continues to explore how we can help credit unions stay relevant in this new age of marketing in order to keep the credit union top of mind in the eyes of their members. While HTML messages are something that have been out there for quite some time, having a partner like Xtend to do the heavy lifting is often the missing ingredient for many mid-market institutions. And our team is ready to do just that.”
“If you’re looking to grab attention while leaving a memory of an image then HTML is an important feature,” says Liz Winninger, Business Development Manager for Xtend. “But there is still a place for plain text. It’s all about member preferences and constant communication. A credit union marketing an auto loan to me needs to catch my eye. Yet other members of my family would prefer plain text. We now offer opportunities to reach both preferences on their terms.”
In the past year Xtend has sent more than 3 million targeted emails for its Member Reach clients.
