CUSO Wrapping Up Busy Core Conversion Support Year

Over the past several years, Xtend, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, has experienced a growing demand for its core data processing conversion support services.  As its 2013 fiscal year draws to a close on September 30th, the CUSO reports that their teams will have supported more projects during the year than ever before.  Xtend’s back office and call center business units provide accounting and member support services to credit unions during their conversion to the CU*BASE® core data processing system from Grand Rapids, Michigan-based CUSO CU*Answers, Inc.  The CU*BASE suite is also deployed by two other CUSOs in the cuasterisk.com network – CU*Northwest, Inc., based in Liberty Lake, Washington, and Fairhope, Alabama-based CU*SOUTH, Inc.

“This has been another big conversion year for our cuasterisk.com partners,” said Scott Collins, Xtend President, “and their success has translated into significant opportunities for our teams to provide back office and member support functions during those implementations.  During this past fiscal year, we have executed more than two dozen call center and bookkeeping post-conversion support projects combined, making this our busiest year ever.  Up to ninety days of bookkeeping support has been part of nearly all CU*BASE® conversions in the past five years, and now that three of four credit unions also utilize our call center team to help provide member support, our offices have been busier than ever.  We are fortunate to have great partners in the cuasterisk.com network that are working collectively on an even bigger 2014.”
