MIDDLEBURY, VT and MIDWAY, UT – June 27th, 2011
eDOC Innovations, a Vermont-based CUSO, recently announced its release of eDOCSignature™ while participating as a sponsor during the Association of Vermont Credit Unions 64th Annual Meeting. Held in picturesque Stowe, Vermont, eDOC spent two days collaborating with credit unions from across the state on relevant document imaging and electronic signature technologies and benefits to establishing a solid eDocument Strategy.
eDOC demonstrated the newly-released solution by replacing the traditional “cards drawn from a hat” giveaway with a contest inspired by their own technology called eDOCSignature™. “eDOCSignature provides credit unions access to an automated archiving process while applying electronic signatures to a document,” says Ian Bouchett, Eastern Account Manager for eDOC Innovations. “We used this same application to create a celebrity ‘sign-a-like’ contest to determine our prize winner, and archived the signatures in our database, indexed by info gathered from the contestant. It was a really exciting opportunity for us to incorporate what we have to offer into our giveaway,” Bouchett continues.
According to eDOC Innovations, eDOCSignature is designed to be a user-friendly tool, offering members the ability to sign their documents digitally from any internet browser. The capability of a mobile signature option also gives members the option to sign their documents using an iPhone or iPad, thus eliminating a drive to their local branch. eDOC Innovations offers a complete enterprise content management solution suite for going paperless and automating processes at the credit union.
