CU*SOUTH’s rapidly-growing Managed Services Collections Division recently announced the promotion of Miss Ashley Beard from Collections Specialist I to Collections Specialist II.

“Her outstanding work, particularly with Tri-Rivers FCU (Montgomery, AL), has contributed significantly to the success and expansion of the department,” comments CEO, Leo Vaulin.   “Ashley immediately understood the recently-implemented series of collections services for our credit union clients, and ran with it,” Vaulin continues.

Ashley has an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from Bishop State College, as well as a Bachelor’s of Arts in Education Technology from Jackson State.

According to Rebecca Weemes who heads the Managed Services division for the CUSO, Beard “understands not only the collections tools embedded CU*BASE core data processing system, but is also very resourceful and understanding of the intangible elements needed to handle members in a stressed financial situation.”
