CU*NorthWest, a data processing CUSO  in Liberty Lake, Washington recently announced the promotion of Ann Joyce to Vice President.  Mrs. Joyce came to CU*NorthWest in March of 2009 after a long and successful career in data center management with the Associated Press.

Operating as the general manager at CU*NorthWest for the last year, Ann distinguished herself as a competent and capable manager for the CUSO’s daily operations and has spent the last year getting comfortable with the CUSO’s wide range of state-of-the-art proprietary technology solutions for its’ credit unions.

“Selecting the correct person for senior management in a firm of our size is critical and Ann has not only my confidence but the confidence of our board of directors,” comments Greg Smith, CEO of the CUSO.  He went on to say, “When we initially hired for the general manager position, we looked for a consummate project and process manager with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Although direct credit union industry experience is helpful, we were far more interested in the ability of the individual to manage a number of both technical and non-technical departments.”
