CU*NorthWest, a wholly credit union-owned CUSO in Washington state says it has distributed its latest SAS70 Audit Report to clients.  Crowe Horwath performed the SAS70 Type II examination and the resulting report has been sent to all clients at no charge.

“The SAS70 examination is not only important for the due diligence of our clients but is an important part of making sure we are operating at the highest possible level of industry best practice” says Greg Smith, CEO of the CUSO.  “It’s a process we welcome”.

CU*NorthWest has performed regular SAS70 Audits since its formation.  Smith also says the CUSO undergoes annual third-party financial audits, regular ACH audits, and performs internal auditing and network penetration testing.
