Xtend, a collaborative CUSO comprised of 103 cooperatives, held its annual meeting to elect two new board members. This year, two seats were open for election.
Five candidates lobbied for the two open seats, and Xtend owners reappointed Jim Miles of MyUSA Credit Union for a second term. Heidi Hunt, CEO of Community West Credit Union in Grand Rapids, MI, was also elected to the board. Both Miles and Hunt will serve three-year terms, effective immediately through September 30, 2027.
“I’d like to thank Michael Abraham for his years of support and impactful volunteer work. His participation on our board of directors has been instrumental in Xtend’s success,” said Liz Winninger, President & CEO of Xtend. “I’d also like to thank all five candidates for their interest in serving on the Xtend board. Welcome back, Jim, and welcome to the board, Heidi! We are thrilled to have them join our team and look forward to a bright future for our CUSO.”
“I am honored to have been elected to the Xtend board of directors,” said Heidi Hunt. “I look forward to collaborating with my fellow board members to ensure the continued success of this innovative organization.”
“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving on the Xtend board,” said Jim Miles. “I look forward to working with the other board members to further Xtend’s mission and support the credit union movement.”
