CU*Answers has recently launched a project to enhance its integration between the CUSO’s CU*BASE® core data processing platform and image archive solutions. The CUSO published news about the project via a recipe on their website’s “Kitchen” page, where updates are posted on key projects being pushed through the development queue.
The project will add a new feature so that loan officers can quickly send a request for a member to upload a document as part of a loan application process. A new web application developed by the CU*Answers Imaging Solution team will launch a message to a member, asking them to upload a document such as a proof of insurance or an image such as a photo ID. This application will act as a link between CU*BASE and existing image archival tools provided by partner eDOC Innovations.
Kyle Karnes, CU*Answers Imaging Solutions Manager, said, “Today, the loan representative working the request jumps out of CU*BASE and opens the eDOCSignature website to request the documents. We’ll still be using the same underlying architecture but this new bridge will make the whole process faster, easier for new users to learn, and further highlight how imaging tools are an integral part of the CU*BASE core software.”
