CU*Answers, the cooperative CUSO headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, announced that its conversions team completed a total of forty-four core data processing projects during the 2021 calendar year, making 2021 the busiest conversion year in the CUSO’s fifty-two-year history.
Commenting on the record performance, Scott Collins, the Executive Vice President of National Sales and Marketplace Development at the CUSO noted, “We couldn’t be prouder of our core conversion teammates for their performance in the past twelve months. Their stellar efforts helped bring eight new communities into our network via mergers, thirty-five credit unions from other cores and one credit union deploying our CU*BASE Servicer Edition to manage their client base. Through their efforts, and the efforts of our network of Certified Distributors this past year, our CU*BASE core suite is now deployed at nearly 350 credit unions across the country.”
“Our 2022 calendar is already very full and our booked 2023 projects are progressing nicely,” Collins added. “2021 was a perfect storm of good fortune, stellar sales efforts and a high level of credit unions shopping for core. I would also be remiss if I didn’t give a special shout out to our partners at CUaxis and Vizo Financial, as they were instrumental in helping us onboard twenty-five credit unions from their AMIS core during 2022. We couldn’t have done it without them.”
