CU*Answers, the West Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, announced that it is currently working on developing a new managed service for board and business planning. One aspect of the service focuses on assisting management teams in structuring and writing professional business plans to be shared with the board and other interested stakeholders. The other side focuses on developing a robust board planning calendar to drive engagement and create routine tasks in the ongoing management of credit union operations.
“Over the past decade, we’ve assisted credit unions with both of these tasks, offering to help where and when we can,” said Content Marketing Manager Esteban Camargo, who is spearheading the service. “I’ve supported many credit unions in writing their business plan and helping them approach the task in a way that gives them structure. Before now though, we had never formalized the engagement.”
Although the services will be available to all credit unions, not just those within the cuasterisk.com network, Camargo added that plans are underway to expand the service for network credit unions by supplementing it with the Asterisk Intelligence team’s work in data analytics, including their newly developed KPI analysis. “Where I can help credit unions write their business plans, Asterisk Intelligence can help them track their goals.”
The service is expected to launch in Fall 2021.
