CU*Answers announced that it has chosen a release date of May 23rd to introduce its eagerly anticipated new teller platform, dubbed “Xpress Teller,” to its credit union clients. CU*BASE Xpress Teller provides an alternative option for credit unions who need a simpler, more streamlined option that meet the different needs of today’s branches and member lobbies.
CU*BASE Xpress Teller offers a modern, keep-it-simple design along with an extensive array of workflow customization tools, allowing credit unions to customize just the services they want to offer. The tool is also intended to require a shorter leaning curve for new tellers and incorporates many “wishlist” ideas submitted by clients over the years.
The CU*BASE core processing suite, used by credit unions in both an online and self processing (in-house) environment, provides three distinct teller approaches for credit unions: the traditional soup-to-nuts Teller Line Posting platform used today, the new streamlined Xpress Teller design, and an API-based solution currently in development that can connect with other third-party teller solutions such as ITMs. The CUSO also has plans to leverage this third solution for a teller app that would let tellers roam the lobby with a tablet.
