CU*NorthWest recently announced that John Bagents, CEO of County Schools Federal Credit Union, has been reelected to serve on the CU*Northwest Board of Directors.

John came to County Schools Federal Credit Union from the NCUA examiner’s world. He was brought in to restore profitability and prevent merger of an underperforming institution. Since coming on board four years ago, County Schools FCU has realized restored sustained profitability, 91% decreased delinquency, asset growth of 19%, loan growth of 71%, and a 92% reduction in staff turnover. County Schools FCU has also been selected by Forbes Magazine as #3 in their list of America’s Best Credit Unions for the State of California.

John is a visionary leader who believes in building for the future, identifying areas for improvement and allocating resources to achieve goals.
