CU*NorthWest, a 100% credit union owned cooperative CUSO has hired Matthew Akers as the Vice President of Finance. Akers comes from a strong finance and accounting background. With over 14 years’ experience working at T-Mobile, McDonalds and AT&T Wireless, his knowledge and experience will be valuable to CU*NorthWest, as it continues to grow.

Akers graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho in economics and finance.  He received his master’s degree from Baker College.  He recently relocated to Liberty Lake from Sammamish, WA and is married with two children.
