West Michigan-based core data processor, CU*Answers, recently announced that with its 12.4 software release for the CU*BASE core platform it has added two new speed sequences allowing power users to more quickly access frequently used functions. The new speed sequences include a shortcut to update a member transaction description and to run an on demand OFAC scan of a single name. Though the system automatically scans for new members, wire transfers, international ACH transactions, and more, CU*Answers indicated it has added the speed sequence for other situations in which an OFAC scan is required.

CU*Answers added that it was proud to continue the trend of providing all releases at no cost to its credit unions.
