Site-Four, a member of the cuasterisk.com network of CUSOs, completed a 72-hour time frame of running the facility completely on the backup generator. This test was designed to simulate full normal utility power loss from the data center’s energy service provider. The 150KW, 336 gallon, diesel fueled, 3-phase generator carried the full load of the power consumption demands with no issues. During the testing, incremental measure of power and fuel consumption was monitored and recorded.
