<p>TBA credit union is one of many credit unions that have opted for website redesign with the recent release of new mobile banking options.  According to the Web Services team at CU*Answers, mobile optimized sites are geared towards showing a subset of information that is important to a mobile user, by being bandwidth conscious, since mobile devices are not broadband enabled.  Offering a mobile website that focuses on significant details important to ‘on-the-go’ users shows that you appreciate their time and business.</p>

<p>The new site features a large rotating promotion, random headers on each page load, a built-in search tool, navbar-style navigation, and Gravity Forms for electronic forms.  The new web site was built on the WordPress with SiteControl platform, complete with a satellite rate board, and mobile optimization for credit union members to take advantage of new <strong>It’s Me 247</strong> Mobile Web Banking.</p>

<p>The Web Services team was able to quickly launch this new section of the site through its WordPress with SiteControl platform. This platform made adding content easy and also enabled other participation features such as comments on various pages of the section. Additionally, an online credit card processing gateway was added to handle immediate registration for this limited participation event.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Xtend, Inc., a multi-owned cooperative CUSO headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, announced that it plans to roll out a new marketing service later this year in a joint venture with its fellow CUSO CU*Answers. The service, which will carry the <a href="http://marketing.cuanswers.com" target="_blank">CU*Overdrive</a> brand, will be a collaborative effort that combines marketing, consulting, web services, programming, and direct member support from multiple business units of the two CUSOs. Xtends Member Reach and Xtension Call Center business units will spearhead the efforts from an Xtend standpoint, joining forces with the <a href="http://ms.cuanswers.com" target="_blank">CU*Answers Management Services</a> (CMS) business unit.<span id="more-1090"></span></p>
<p>According to Xtend President Scott Collins, The goal of CU*OverDrive is to provide a comprehensive annual marketing plan in a can for our credit union partners that leverages the resources we have within our two CUSOs. By helping execute a calendar of professional, full-service marketing campaigns as an extension of the credit union marketing team, we are confident that we can drive member awareness and have a positive impact on credit union profitability. Todays marketplace demands a systematic approach and a variety of channels and that is exactly what CU*Overdrive will provide.</p>
<p>Collins introduced the concept during Xtends recent Annual Stockholders Meeting, including the draft of a marketing calendar that would include a combination of campaigns with savings/thrift, lending, and general industry focus. Campaigns will include consulting, core system configuration, artwork and web content, collaborative printing pricing, and electronic communications with an option to activate inbound/outbound call center support as well.</p>
<p>The CUSO expects to be ready for implementation by the 4th quarter of 2009.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>WESCO Net Web Services, a leader in web design and hosting, announces they have received 10,000 requests in the last 3 years for web site updates. According to the Web Services Team, WESCO Net put in an automatic request tracking system to manage incoming web site update requests, and reached the 10,000th mark on March 25th, 2009.<span id="more-792"></span></p>
<p>Web Services has grown tremendously within the last 3 years, from hosting 40 credit union sites and the flagship corporate <a href="http://www.cuanswers.com">cuanswers.com</a>, and today hosting over 120 web sites representing over 250 domain names. WESCO Net Web Services is also credited with an expanding fleet of corporate web properties, including the video training site <a href="http://OnDemand.cuanswers.com">OnDemand.cuanswers.com</a>, and network retail site <a href="http://cuasterisk.com">cuasterisk.com</a>. Additionally, Web Services has also developed several web applications including Retailer Direct for online indirect loan origination and MicroLender for Pay Day Lending solutions.</p>
<p>According to David Damstra, Manager of Web Services, &#8220;We&#8217;re only starting to realize our full potential. In the last three years, we&#8217;ve doubled our staff, and greatly increased our capabilities and talent base. We&#8217;ve also recently expanded our hosting capacity for both web and email hosting with the addition of a new server in preparation for projects that are lined up for the 2009 year.&#8221;</p>

<p>CU*Answers Web Services team is taking its CUSO client base to new heights with new Web Hosting Platform capabilities. This platform allows credit union staff to personally administer select modifications and updates to their sites and manage their CU*Answers hosted e-mail addresses. Additionally, it provides a display of critical statistics via a comprehensive graphical web hosting control panel. <span id="more-377"></span></p>
<p>Plans are in the works for additional enhancements that will enable clients to even further control their own site building and content management. With these features, clients will be able to perform various updates and changes on the fly, without any lag time involved. Without a doubt, this new web hosting platform allows clients to exert greater site control, schedule changes as desired, and budget future costs more effectively.</p>
<p>Not only does CU*Answers create and maintain credit union web sites; it also has branched out to other credit union associated entities. NACUSO Executive Assistant Shauna Luna says &#8220;I highly recommend the CU*Answers Web Services team. They are knowledgeable and quick to respond when I have questions. Many times we have projects that come up at the last minute and their turn-around is usually within 1-2 business days. Typically, it gets addressed even the same day.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The Web Services team is in high demand from CU*Answers clients. From new site design, performing site updates and custom requests, to exploring new territory with Content Management Tools and RSS (Really Simple Syndication) content feeds; you don&#8217;t want to miss what&#8217;s happening here. <p>Some other recent projects completed by the Web Services team include:</p>

<li>Retailer Direct; allowing any retailer to present an electronic, secured loan application directly to a loan underwriters workstation and eliminate all re-keying. Retailer Direct also includes risk based pricing, auto-decisioning and forms print features.</li>
<li>A new partnership with Prime Alliance, providing a web-based Mortgage Application (and optional LOS system) solution delivered directly to a loan officer&#8217;s desktop.</li>
<li>An Xtend Financial Services CUSO Shared Branching web site that provides members a web map tool for locating every shared branch location.</li>
