Shared Branching Network Adding Three New Credit Unions

Xtend, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, announced that the proprietary shared branching consortium Bearing its CUSO brand is in the process of adding three new credit union partners.  Following the onboarding completion for H.P.C. Credit Union (Alpena. Michigan), Post Community Credit Union (Battle Creek, Michigan) and Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union (Battle Creek, Michigan), the peer-managed network will consist of ninety-three (93) credit unions and more than two hundred fifteen (215) locations nationally.

“The Xtend shared branching brand continues to be an important member service channel for our mid-market credit union partners,” said Xtend President Scott Collins, “and is a success story for many reasons.  It is credit union-owned and credit union-managed, which translates into a low-cost solution with no entry barriers.  It operates under the rules of engagement governed by a peer-run Advisory Council, so it is truly collaboration in action.  We look forward to continued expansion of the network, and welcome our three newest partners on board.”

Collins noted that the Xtend shared branching brand leverages the CU*BASE® core data processing system deployed by fellow CUSOs CU*Answers (Grand Rapids, Michigan) and CU*Northwest (Liberty Lake, Washington).
