Spokane Law Enforcement Credit Union (SLECU), located in Spokane Washington, representing 2200 members and over $34 million in credit union assets, has purchased stock to become an owner of the CUSO. Although ownership is not a requirement for purchasing products or services from CU*NorthWest, most credit unions have chosen to participate as owners.
Spokane Law Enforcement Credit Union recently converted to CU*NorthWest for core processing from Users in October of 2008.
Ownership does require that a credit union have a core processing contract with the CUSO. CU*NorthWest now has 10 owners and expects to add another in the next 90 days.
